Ovation's Applause AE-148 is a shallow bowl, single cutaway acoustic/electric guitar with Ovation's top notch OP4B pre-amp and transducer pick up. The warm acoustic guitar tones are combined with the pre-amp electronics to create the signature Ovation sound. Ovation's shallow bowl single cut-away acoustic body is much thinner than other acoustic/electric guitars. For guitar players looking for a smaller body the AE-148's light weight and comfortable single cutaway are perfect. The thinner shallow bowl also reduces feedback during live performances, while the Ovation OP4B pre amp is great for recording. Case not included.
